Yes, there is a weekend rate. It applies specifically to any two day, or three day holiday weekend. Two day weekend orders, booked through the weekend and returned by business hours Monday morning, get a 25% discount applied if they qualify. Book and reserve as usual, and we apply the discount before charging you on aproval
Nearly anything can be changed, canceled or adjusted by calling us directly at 785-741-2106. Just refer to your name or order number to get us on track, then we will work out the details as needed. Date changes are subject to availability as there may be other reservations already on the times you want, but we do what we can to accommodate!
Yes! go ahead and enter your card when ordering, then enter your wish in the notes or call and let us know. Nothing gets charged until you pick up your order, and payment type can be changed anytime.

Delivery rate is calculated from a base rate radius with per mile additional beyond. Ask our staff, or select delivery on your reservation to get accurate pricing for your specific need. Trailers are available to rent along with a machine rental as well.
The Damage Waiver is an optional line item on your rental agreement that works a bit like the shop supplies fee at a mechanic. It’s a charge that helps cover minor accidental damage that can happen during normal equipment use. With the Damage Waiver, Star Rental covers up to the first $500 of accidental damage to the equipment — things like dents, small breakage, or other unexpected issues that can occur during normal operation. The waiver does not cover misuse, neglect, theft, missing parts, glass damage, or tire damage. If repairs exceed $500, we don’t automatically pass along the full cost. We review the situation and discuss it with the renter to find a fair resolution.
The Damage Waiver is not insurance. Don't go crashing through the woods. Do not risk a cut track on broken concrete and rebar, or scrap metal. Do not overload and bend things. It’s simply a program that reduces your responsibility for minor accidental damage during normal equipment use.
If you choose not to take the Damage Waiver, you are responsible for the full cost of any damage to the equipment, REGARDLESS OF CAUSE. In most cases, renters who decline the waiver must provide a qualifying Certificate of Insurance listing Star Rental as additional insured before equipment is released.
Not every rental results in damage, but it’s common for equipment to experience small issues such as: Minor dents or scrapes, Small component breakage, and Hydraulic hoses or fittings getting snagged... The Damage Waiver helps keep those situations simple and manageable for both the renter and Star Rental.
